About

With an undergraduate degree in fine arts photography, and several years studying architecture, I shifted my focus to furniture making and furniture design in 2000. I worked as an apprentice to Peter Cabot at Cabot Woodworking and Design, Inc., and graduated from the Cabinet and Furniture making program at the illustrious North Bennet Street School in Boston's North End. My focus is on designing period inspired furniture of my own design. I also make custom bookbinding equipment, such as finishing and lying presses, and sewing frames. I have made bookbinding equipment for labs at Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University, as well as for several independent binders and conservators.
